Doña Fefa y Su Bodega: A Newcomer's Story


Rhode Island Latino Arts has commissioned an original monologue written and directed by Marcel Mascaró and starring Magnolia Pérez as Doña Fefa.

The play is based on Josefina “Doña Fefa” Rosario’s story, as told to Marta V. Martínez, Creator and Project Director of Nuestras Raíces: Latino Oral Histories of Rhode Island.

Debut performance will be at the former site of Fefa's Market, now the location of Parkview Café, 1232 Broad St, Providence, RI 02905 | Sunday, March 17, 2019 from 4-6:30PM.

Entrance is FREE and open to the public. Purchase your lunch or refreshments, and enjoy the show.

Community Organizations: If you would like to host this performance, contact us at: info@rilatinoarts.org. A $250 artists stipend will be requested of hosting organizations in Rhode Island. Our fee varies if we travel outside of Rhode Island. Please inquire about a school or library rate.
