A resident of Cranston, RI, Ana Arelys holds a Bachelors Degree of Arts in Biology from Rhode Island College and she is a Registered Sleep Technologist and a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist.
A resident of Cranston, RI, Ana Arelys holds a Bachelors Degree of Arts in Biology from Rhode Island College and she is a Registered Sleep Technologist and a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist.
Ana is also an accomplished author. In 2013, she was invited to be the Keynote Speaker at the Dominican Independence and Heritage Awards of Rhode Island as a recognition of her poetic work. In 2014, the Latina Leadership Institute recognized Ana for her community leadership and contributions to literature.
In 2017, Ana Arelys was selected as one of the finalist for the position of Rhode Island State Poet. Her work, The Bay was published in the first anthology of Shoreline, a publication of the Association of Rhode Island Authors.
