Lucía Retta is a writer, educator, and artist currently living in Providence, Rhode Island and with roots in Texas and Northern Mexico. A graduate of Brown University's Literary Arts MFA, her work focuses on the land and the body as sites of memory and mystery, revelation, reclamation, and renewal. She is inspired by places that open, deserts and oceans, the sacred and mundane, and backyard gardens.
